This Saturday, June 10, as part of the city’s summer kick-off celebrations, CeleBrampton street festival is on and a bus ride will only cost you a loonie.

The festivities begin at 11 am in downtown Brampton with culture, entertainment, food and plenty of activities happening into the night.

Downtown Brampton streets will be lined with some of the city’s best restaurants offering delicious tapas-style eats. As for entertainment, plenty of performances will take place throughout the day and into the evening.

CeleBrampton includes a sneak peek of what’s in store for this year’s Carabram celebrations, too. Throughout the day Saturday cultural performances will take place in Ken Whillans Square, just outside the old city hall entrance.

During the day a DJ will spin in Garden Square, and later two live acts, Exco Levi and The Jerry Cans, are set to perform.

There are lots of things going on downtown at the street festival all day, and the best part? You don’t have to drive! Hop on the bus for $1 all day. But, be aware that Presto cards can not be used to receive the discount.
