Canada’s top providers all claim to have the best and fastest networks and the most satisfied customers, but some new research has settled it once and for all. If you’re on the market for a new service provider for your phone, this may help you with your research and to get the best bang for your buck.

A must-have for most mobile users is a fast network so PC Mag decided to get to the bottom of the issue with some testing to figure out exactly which network is fastest. They all claim to be, but they wanted to see if one would come out a definitive winner.

PC Mag looked at average download speeds, maximum download, and upload capacities and other stats to see which mobile network would come out on top. Telus came in as the #1 network with a 100% ranking. Bell came in at a close second at 96% and Rogers is trailing behind at 89%. The reason Telus and Bell are so close is that they have virtually the same equipment.

In its report, PC Mag also offers a breakdown of some of the best wireless plans in the country right now.
