Carabram Multicultural Festival kicks off Friday with new pavilions

Carabram, Brampton’s Multicultural Festival and one of the biggest in Canada is back again!

This year’s pavilions include Africa, Caribbean, Eelam, India, Ireland, Portugal, Philippines, Canada, Hawaii and three new pavilions — Latin America, China and Nepal.

A $12 passport gives you unlimited access to all pavilions and festival programming for the full weekend. This year’s Latin American pavilion will feature a live mariachi band, a dance floor for salsa, cultural food like Mexican tacos, puposas and more.

The China pavilion will be a delegation inside of the Caribbean pavilion with cultural performances and food on Saturday. One of Carabram’s biggest pavilions, Eelam, is also back for another year with lots of entertainment, food and a huge marketplace of cultural goods. The Eelam pavilion, and the festival as a whole brings in people from across the GTA every year.
