This weekend from Friday, June 14 to Saturday, June 15, Caledon will be having a huge craft beer festival and Caledon Day celebration.
Cheers Caledon will celebrate its 3rd annual craft beer festival with the finest beer craft artisans across the province, food trucks, activities, and a whole lot of fun and games. Advance tickets are $20 while tickets at the door will be $25.
Cheers Caledon begins Friday at 6 pm and goes until midnight at the Caledon Civic Campus, Caledon East.
On Saturday, this year’s Caledon Day line-up includes a number of prominent performers on the Husky Main Stage. Starting at 2 pm, JUNO nominees Sonshine & Broccoli will perform followed by Rythmfoot at 3 pm, Creedence Clearwater Survival at 4 pm in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, and Toronto’s female funk/soul band Grace at 5:30 pm. At 7 pm, alt-country outfit Blackie Jackett Jr. will be opening for JUNO nominated indie rock band, Tokyo Police Club performing at 8 pm.
There will also be a giant fireworks display after Tokyo Police Club’s performances to close the festival.
Aside from the performances, there will be plenty of Fun Zones with lots of games, events and activities for everybody to enjoy ranging from: Kids Zone, Library Zone, VIP Zone, Vendors Zone, Youth Zone, Water Zone, and Beer Zone.
Free parking will be available at the Caledon East Complex (after 3 pm) and at the Caledon East Fire Hall Park. Premium parking is available at Town Hall for $5.00 per car.
Caledon Day Event will be at the Caledon Civic Campus, Caledon East (6215 Old Church Road) on Saturday June 15 from 2 pm to midnight.
