Deputy Chief Andrews, a familiar face in Brampton and a dedicated public servant, stood tall as he received this esteemed recognition. His 34-year tenure with Peel Regional Police is marked by unwavering commitment and exemplary service.

Andrews’ journey began in 1990 when he joined the force as a Constable at 12 Division. Throughout his career, he navigated various roles with distinction, from the Morality Bureau to the Homicide Bureau, where he handled numerous high-profile cases.

Promotions came knocking, with Andrews rising through the ranks to become Deputy Chief in 2018. His leadership extended to critical areas within the organization, including Radio Operations, Field Operations, and the Duty Inspectors Office.

Beyond his law enforcement duties, Andrews has been a steadfast aide-de-camp to the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario since 2013. His commitment to service extends beyond borders, having served in the Canadian Armed Forces before joining the police.
