There’s nothing quite as nice as a sunny Saturday morning stroll through downtown Brampton enjoying the sights and smells of fresh produce and artisanal goods, live music from buskers and a delicious bite from local market vendors.

This year’s downtown Brampton Farmers’ Market kicks off June 17 bringing farm fresh vegetables, hand-crafted items, fresh meat and poultry, and delicious baked goods of all kinds to one of the city’s busiest intersections.

Every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Main and Queen will be closed to cars and open for pedestrians to shop locally.

This year quite a few of the regular vendors will return including Green Geek Co and their delicious smoothies, Cody’s Cows and their fresh meats, Soup Girl and more.

The city has live music, food demonstrations, and an art market specifically for local creators selling their wares.

What costumes will tea shop owner Daniel Lewis rock this year, and what kinds of delicious offerings will you be able to snack on as you pick out fresh kale and strawberries?

Come and find out on June 17.
