Brampton doesn’t have any drive-in theatres, and while movies in Garden Square and around the city are great, it’s always nice to get out to the drive-in during the summer. Here’s a list of the best near Brampton.

5 Drive-In

5 Drive-In is the closest to Brampton at a short drive to Oakville. This drive-in is equipped with three screens to show new releases. It always runs two feature films back-to-back, and it’s a busy place so you’ll want to arrive early to stake your claim on a good spot. Bring your own snacks or enjoy a bite from the diner and snack bar.

The Docks

The Docks is Toronto’s only drive-in and it’s located right by the water. Movies are the latest releases and play year-round Friday to Sunday, rain or shine. There’s a driving range on site as well if you fancy some golf before or after your movie.

Can-View Drive-In

This drive-in is en route to Niagara Falls from Brampton. It plays double features every weekend, and with four screens showing different movies you’ll have lots of selection. It’s a great way to close off a day trip to the falls.

The Stardust

The Stardust is a bit of a drive since it’s near Newmarket, but it’s worth it for the retro vibe and top-notch movies. It tends to be a little less crowded, being more removed from the GTA, which makes for a low-key evening.

Mustang Drive-In Guelph

This drive-in spot is just a couple of cities over in Guelph. The best part is you can avoid the 401 altogether by taking side roads and get there in the same amount of time. Mustang plays all new releases, and general admission is $13, which makes it a couple of bucks cheaper than the other drive-ins in the area.
