The concept is simple: artists from across the city gift the public with pieces of their work. It could be a painting, a photograph, a sculpture, a poem — whatever it is the feel inspired to give.

The Free Art Friday movement is a global one. Thousands of artists from across the world participate throughout the year in their own cities. It originally started in England and has since spread.

On September 30 artists in Brampton will be putting out their works of art too and its totally up for grabs to anyone who comes across it. So if you happen to pass by a piece with a ‘free art” sign or sticker on it, don’t hesitate to take it!

Follow Free Art Friday Peel on Instagram to see where pieces are being dropped across Brampton.
