On Friday, June 21, the City of Brampton will be celebrating The International Day of Yoga with outdoor yoga on the lawn at Mount Pleasant Community Centre from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Whether you’re a yoga expert or newbie you can join in. All ages and group sizes (including families) can come to participate with no registration required. However, be sure to bring your own non-slip yoga mat or towel to use on the grass.
One other thing: participants are required to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to a local food bank.

If you can’t make Friday’s celebration, there is another one in Rosalea Park on Saturday morning. You can learn more about that event here.
So take the next couple of days to get your downward dog and your tree pose ready to go and the International Day of Yoga with your Brampton neighbours.
