Christmas season is just around the corner, which means Brampton’s annual tree lighting is too! Every year downtown Brampton is decorated with thousands of Christmas lights that stay up all winter.
Brampton’s annual tree lighting is happening this year on Friday, November 16, starting at 6 p.m.
It’s all part of the city’s Winter Lights Festival which includes the Santa Claus Parade and the new Holiday Pop-Up Shoppe.
Santa will make his appearance on Saturday, November 17. The parade kicks off at 5 p.m. and will travel along Ken Whillans and down Main Street going south.
This year instead of an outdoor holiday market, the city has opted for a Holiday Pop-Up Shoppe. The market will run from Friday during the tree lighting ceremony until Sunday inside of the city hall atrium and West Tower Conservatory.
