After months of campaigning Brampton’s 2018 Municipal Election ends today. Polls are open in the city from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and results will be available online.

The city has created a website for the results. They can be viewed at http://election.brampton.ca and is the only official source for results in Brampton.

After the polls close at 8 p.m. the city will start uploading election results to the website, offering regular updates. There are 147 voting locations across the city and there were 22 advanced polling locations so it will take a few hours for the full results to become available.

The results posted on the city’s election results webpage will be considered unofficial until the City Clerk can certify them. This usually takes a  day or two and the official results will be made available by October 25.

So keep your eyes peeled to http://election.brampton.ca for the results. Bramptonist is also going live at 7:30 p.m. on Facebook to offer analysis and results. You can also follow us on Twitter and Instagram for regular updates.
