A new horror thriller ‘Wish Upon” starring Joey King of The Conjuring is currently filming in Brampton.
The movie is about Claire, a 16-year-old misfit high school misfit who finds a magical box that promises her a chance at the life she’s always wanted. But she soon discovers that every wish she makes requires a deadly payment.
Some of the movie’s scenes have already been shot at David Suzuki Secondary School. The Brampton Film Office told Bramptonist that the street in front, Daviselm Drive, was closed off to film a car accident scene.
John Leonetti is directing the film. Leonetti was the director of horror film Annabelle, and cinematographer of The Conjuring and Insidious.
