Ikea stores across Canada are having their annual Swedish Christmas Buffet in December.
The Swedish furniture giant is inviting Canadians to celebrate with them. Bring out the whole family out to enjoy a Swedish Christmas dinner, with no dishes to clean up afterward.
The event is called Julbord, and it features a smorgasbord of festive Swedish dishes. You can expect things like pickled herring, cured salmon, Christmas ham, crispbreads, red beet salad, cabbage, pâté, meatballs and gingerbread.
Locations like Toronto and North York have already hosted their Julbord this year, but the Etobicoke and Vaughan branches will have their Julbords on Wednesday, December 12, from 5:50 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Some locations might extend their Julbord but that is yet to be confirmed.
Tickets to the Julbord are only $15.99 for members and $19.99 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Ikea restaurants.
