The week starting March 9th will mark International Women’s Day, and there are several events in Brampton, virtual of course, for you to engage. And this year, there is one event that celebrates Brampton Councillor Charmaine Williams.
The theme for this year is: “From challenge comes change, so let’s all choose to challenge“. You are encouraged to pose with your hand up high to show you are in and then share on social media #ChooseToChallenge.
On the evening of March 3rd, Brampton’s Board of Trade is hosting an event celebrating International Women’s Day with InspiHER. You can register to participate, virtually, with top female leaders to hear inspirational and encouraging stories. The evening will also include one-on-one networking and a special Leadership Panel Q&A on the Main Stage. As part of InspiHER, outstanding Brampton woman are awarded The Naseem Somani Memorial Award for Leadership Excellence. This year, Brampton Councillor Charmaine Williams accepts this prestigious award.
