Italian Restaurant Vesuvio’s Re-opens After Flood

A little over a year ago Vesuvio’s Ristorante was forced to close its doors after a water main broke underneath the restaurant and caused major flooding.

The owners vowed to re-open bigger and better, and by all accounts, it looks as if they’ve succeeded: the restaurant that has been a staple in Brampton for the past 53 years has completely transformed itself.

Walking in you’ll see a sparkling display case of imported wines and a completely revamped dining room.

The new look is elegant and classy, making it the perfect spot for date night or get-togethers with family and friends.

There’s a second section off of the dining room that can be used for private functions. It reflects the same style as the main dining room, sporting a gorgeous nighttime shot of the restaurant’s exterior and beautiful contemporary chandeliers.

Who could forget about the patio? Vesuvio’s has one of the best in the city. It has a quiet, tucked-away vibe and you can often hear the live music from Gage Park if the restaurant doesn’t already have some entertainment of its own lined up.

As for the menu, it still features many of the homemade classics–handmade pasta, pizzas and more–that drew in the community for 53 years.
