The City of Brampton along with Rick Davis Promotions is hosting the annual Kite Fest at Heart Lake Conservation Area this weekend, and the first 1,000 kids get a free kite.

Kite Fest has seen dozens of attendees come and fly their kites in the clear blue skies in the past and even bigger crowds are expected this time. The event is eco-friendly and offers a fun, family-friendly atmosphere and a free festival with lots of food, entertainment, music and vendors.

Kite Fest runs from Saturday, June 8 to Sunday, June 9 from 11 am to 4 pm daily at Heart Lake Conservation Area (10818 Heart Lake Road).
