Brampton’s mayor, Linda Jeffrey, is hosting an expert discussion all about urban planning and design, and the potential for the 905. The best part of all is that you can be a part of the conversation.

The event, titled Brave New Suburbia, will explore how the suburbs will evolve over the next few years and its place in urban development.

The Office of the Mayor and Spacing Magazine are hosting this panel discussion at LAB B, a startup incubator in downtown Brampton. It takes place Tuesday, October 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.


Dr. Zhixi Zhuang is an Associate Professor at Ryerson University’s School of Urban and Regional Planning and a Registered Professional Planner practicing in Ontario, Canada.

Graham Haines brings experience working in the public, private and NGO sectors to the Ryerson City Building Institute.

Yousaf Shah is a Consultant at Hemson Consulting Ltd. with a background in construction management and urban planning.
