Mississauga has been getting lots of attention in recent months for some pretty interesting condo developments that are springing up all across the city. This one may put the others to shame, though.
The flagship building of the M City Development slated to be built near Square one will have a rooftop skating rink.
The 51-storey tower will be Mississauga’s tallest tower to date and its sleek, modern design has already created some serious buzz across the GTA.
Now the icing on top of the already awesome cake is a pretty unique amenity to attract buyers across the area, a place to skate and enjoy views of Mississauga from the sky.
The M City flagship tower, along with the rest of the development, is slated to be built on 15 acres of land at a cost of about $1.5 billion dollars. The development will create 2 acres of brand new park space and 6,000 residential suites.
The whole development will include 10 towers, with M City’s flagship tower set to become the defining landmark of Mississauga’s core.
The community is also slated to sit just steps away from the Hurontario LRT, a joint venture between Brampton and Mississauga.
Brampton has already seen some development spur as a result of the LRT ending at Steeles and Hurontario. Can we expect to see more, maybe a rooftop skating rink or some other innovative developments in our future? Only time will tell.
We don’t know about you, but we’re a little bit green with envy over here.
