New sports bar and lounge coming to Downtown Brampton

A new sports lounge is making its way to downtown Brampton

Wendel Clark’s Classic Grill and Bar, official restaurant of the ex-NHL-er with the same name, is currently being built in the old International Furs location.

Rumour has it (re: peering at the construction site from our cars) that the sports lounge may have two floors, and if we cross our fingers multiple times, there may be a patio backing onto Garden Square.

Thus is franchise’s fourth location, and it’s first in Peel, with other restaurants located in Burlington, Hamilton and Vaughan.

The vibe loos to be casual. It will no doubt be a lively spot to sip a Caesar, chow down some wings and cheer on our favourite sports teams, in true Canadian fashion.

The extensive menu boasts classic Canadian items, including poutine, sliders, burgers, Montreal smoked meat sandwiches, and the good ol’ meatloaf with mashed potatoes.

Wendel Clark’s Classic Bar and Grill will be located at 36 Main St. North in downtown Brampton, beside the Rose Theatre.
