November 27, 2023 — Get ready for a winter wonderland like never before! The City of Brampton is proud to announce the return of its much-loved Winter Wonderland. Thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Spirit of Math, residents can look forward to a season of delightful outdoor activities, making Brampton the first city in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to open up outdoor ice skating.

More Rinks, More Fun
This year, Brampton is breaking new ground by introducing more artificial rinks than ever before. The Gore Meadows Covered Outdoor Rink is already open, and starting Friday, November 24, weather permitting, additional outdoor rinks and skating trails across the city will come to life.

New Skating Destinations
Adding to the excitement, two new outdoor skating locations, Boreham Park and Peel Village Park, join the lineup. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or just starting, these rinks are designed for everyone to enjoy.

Diverse Skating Programs
The Gore Meadows Covered Outdoor Rink is going above and beyond with a variety of registered skating programs. From beginners to pros, everyone can find a program that suits their skill level. Don’t miss out – advance registration is required for these programs.
Hockey Shenanigans
Calling all hockey enthusiasts! Several rinks, including Boreham Park, Duggan Park, Flower City Community Campus, Gore Meadows Covered Outdoor Rink, and Peel Village Park, are setting aside dedicated times for hockey shinny. Grab your stick and join in on the action!
