The Peel Art Gallery, Museum + Archives (PAMA) in partnership with The Diversity Roundtable is hosting a new virtual show called Art Voice! Put together with two co-curators, Anupama Aery and Loloa Alkasawat, the exhibition features visual art, poetry, and more from over 70 local youth artists.
This exhibition showcases youth voices from all over the Region of Peel. The young people have expressed themselves through various mediums and offer their unique perspectives. The theme was kept open so that local emerging youth artists could feel free to share any of their works of art. The artists submitted work about home, isolation, struggles with mental health, image and racism, the changing environment, beauty found in nature and everyday life. Their creative expressions reflect the reality of their lives.
Below are a few examples from the show, and you can see the entire gallery on PAMA’s website here.
