It’s officially Family Day weekend in Brampton and there’s a bunch of stuff happening throughout the city, including at Peel Art Gallery Museum + Archives.

PAMA has free admission on Monday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will have activities inspired by their winter exhibitions Ronald Bloore: Black and White and North is Freedom.

On Monday you can drop in for activities like painting polar bear winter abstract scenes, story time and more. Enjoy a family storytelling performance with Diana Brathwaite and Chris Whiteley: Sugar & Gold, Story of Underground Railroad in Canada. Performances will happen at 10:30 a.m. and at 2 p.m.

You can also meet local artist Mosa McNeilly who will lead in the creation of a community art project based on Underground Railroad quilt codes.

PAMA’s archives, museum exhibitions and art gallery will also be open for exploration.
