Peel Health Hands Two Brampton Restaurants Conditional Passes

Two establishments received conditional passes by Peel Health this week.

Galaxy Grand Convention Centre
200 Advanced Blvd, L6T 4B4

Galaxy Grand received a conditional pass on April 18th and passed the following inspection on April 19th. The conditional pass was due to:

  • Lack of proper maintenance of food contact surfaces and equipment
  • Not keeping non-food contact surfaces clean, sanitary and in good condition.
  • Not keeping mechanical ventilation clean and sanitary
  • Not providing adequate protection against pests

Royal Kabob
112-284 Queen Street E, L6V 1C2

Royal Kabob received a conditional pass on April 19th and it has yet to have a follow-up inspection.

  • Improper storage of food to prevent contamination and or/adulteration (A significant risk)
  • Improper supplies to ensure efficient dishwashing and sanitizing
  • Improper washing and sanitizing of utensils
  • Not keeping non-food contact surfaces clean, sanitary and in good condition.
  • Insufficient lighting
  • Not providing adequate protection against pests
  • Not using good housekeeping practices.

First Time Inspections
