January 13, 2024 – Gear up, students of Brampton! The 20th edition of the Elementary Peel Skills Competition 2024 takes place on April 3 and 4, 2024, at two Brampton schools – Judith Nyman Secondary School and Chinguacousy Secondary School.
This annual event isn’t just a competition; it’s a showcase of talent, innovation, and skills among students in grades 4 to 8. There are judged events in several categories such as TV/Video Production, Character Animation, Construction, Green Energy, LEGO Mechanical Engineering, LEGO Robotics, Technology, VEX Robotics, and Workplace Safety – all under one roof. It’s a smorgasbord of challenges that will put young minds to the test.

But it’s not all about the competition – it’s about growth. Peel Skills 2024 aligns with the 6 global competencies, giving students the tools to navigate the dynamic demands of life, work, and learning. It’s a stepping stone towards a future-ready skill set.
