Pizza Pizza has always sort of served vegan pizzas, but this was only if you ordered a pizza without any cheese, and what’s the fun in that?
Today the pizza chain announced they’re officially offering vegan cheese as an option at all locations across Canada. They already offer a gluten-free crust made of a rice and potato-based flour.
The plant-based, cheese-like product is made by Violife and will join the rest of the company’s vegan options, including a home style sauce, classic and whole grain crust options and an array of veggie toppings.
Those seeing vegan and gluten-free offerings, have one more option they can count on anytime.
