January 15, 2024 – The 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau made a significant breakthrough on January 13, 2024, when they executed a search warrant at a Brampton residence, leading to the arrest of a 42-year-old man on multiple firearms and drug-related charges.
During the operation, law enforcement confiscated a .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a suppressor and a 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun from the premises. Additionally, a stash of drugs was seized, intensifying the charges against the suspect.

The accused, identified as Neal Henry of Brampton, faces a litany of charges, including unauthorized possession of firearms (x2), possession of a prohibited device or ammunition for a dangerous purpose, and careless storage of firearms (x2). Further charges include possession of property obtained by crime and possession for the purpose of trafficking (x4).
Following his arrest, Henry underwent a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
