Skate Through The Woods At This Trail Near Brampton

skating trails in and around brampton

Valens Lake in Hamilton opened a new skate trail last year through the woods and it’s set to open the first week of December.

The staff at Hamilton Conservation Authority transformed a campground road into a 425-metre ice skating path.

Now you can skate through the woods, surrounded by the Spruce and Pine trees in just a 50-minute drive from Brampton.

The Valens Lake Skate Trail isn’t the first of its kind, there are a bunch of other stunning outdoor skate trails in Ontario, but it’s the closest to the GTA, and the closest to Brampton.

The new skate trail is a nice alternative to the popular Arrowhead Trail up in Huntsville, Ontario, which is a 2 hour and 45-minute drive from Brampton.
