Remembrance Day takes place on a Sunday this year, and while most businesses and services will remain operational on Sunday, many will be closed Monday in observance. Here’s a list of what’s closed on Remembrance Day in Brampton.

- Federal and provincial government offices
- Canada Post, with no regular collection or delivery
- All major banks
City Hall
A number of city services will be unavailable or operate under reduced service levels. Residents will not be able to apply for marriage licenses, pay parking fines in person or apply for permits on Monday.
Brampton Fire, By-law Enforcement and recreation centres will all operate as normal.
Several services will continue to operate normally.
Brampton Library
All branches of Brampton Library will be open on Sunday, November 11. In observance of Remembrance Day, all branches will be closed on Monday, November 12. Residents can browse books and place holds on books, music and online courses at bramptonlibrary.ca.
