Some changes to Brampton Transit went into effect on April 17. The following routes that were originally cut will be back in service from Monday to Friday in order to allow easy access to healthcare facilities, and some employment areas in Brampton. Brampton Transit says the changes will also improve access and connections to other transit services.

Route 8 Centre – Access to Bramalea City Centre, Peel Memorial Centre, and Brampton Gateway Terminal

  • 50-minute frequency
  • First trip departing at 5 AM from Bramalea Terminal
  • First trip departing at 5:50 AM from Brampton Gateway Terminal

Route 9 Vodden – Access to Mount Pleasant GO, Bramalea Terminal and employment areas in the east end

  • 60-minute frequency
  • First eastbound trip departing at 5 AM from Mount Pleasant GO
  • First westbound trip departing at 5:57 AM from Williams Parkway and Edvac Drive

Route 52 McMurchy – Access to Downtown Terminal and Brampton Gateway Terminal

  • 50-minute frequency
  • First northbound trip departing at 5 AM from Brampton Gateway Terminal
  • First southbound trip departing at 5:20 AM from Downtown Terminal
