Step Up for a Good Cause: Join the Coldest Night of the Year Fundraiser Walk in Brampton

Walks planned in Downtown by Regen Outreach and Bramalea by St. Leonard’s Place

January 14, 2023 – The Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser, an event that raises awareness and funds for those experiencing “hurt, homelessness or hunger,” is returning for another year in two Brampton locations on February 25th.

The fundraising event, which is a national outdoor walk, is open for registration through local host partners in Brampton.

This family-friendly event aims to raise money for local charities supporting those in need and promotes welcome, inclusion and compassion in communities.

The event organizers believe that “Each step we take brings someone closer to safety, health and home, as together, we raise funds for organizations whose commitment and work transforms peoples’ lives,” as stated on their website.

On the day of the event, registration opens at 4 p.m., the walk routes open at 5 p.m. and all walkers must be on the route by 6 p.m.

Interested individuals can search for their nearest location online or click on the location links provided for more information, route maps, and registration.

2 Fundraiser Options: Downtown & Bramalea

Local walks being hosted in Brampton include Brampton Downtown hosted by Regeneration Outreach Community and Brampton Bramalea hosted by St. Leonard’s Place Peel.

The fundraiser is a great opportunity to come together as a community and support a good cause, while also having a good time.

Join participants on February 25, 2023 – team up, fundraise, walk, and gather for good… because it’s cold out there.
