Stryke Target Range Axe & Knife Throwing in Brampton

No need to fear the looming zombie apocalypse, Stryke has just what you need to get zombie-ready!

Stryke Target Range, a 10,000 sq ft facility opened up last month in Brampton. Bramptonist was invited to check out the facility and test drive everything they have to offer.

The range offers 12 short ranges for throwing axes and knives as well as eight long ranges for archery and air guns. Their arsenal of tools to hone your zombie domination skills is extensive — they offer axes, knives, automatic air guns, and more.

Walking in, you’ll be greeted by the distinct sound of axes hitting target and the smell of freshly sawed wood. The ranges are designed into single throwing areas so you can throw to your heart’s content without having to worry about the person beside you. And what could be better than doing just that after a busy work week?

We started our Stryke experience off by attempting to master the knives and axes. The staff is great, if it’s your first time they’ll help you learn the proper technique for throwing. You’ll stay safe and be hitting the target like a boss in no time.

The best part about Stryke is that it’s not just a target range. They call it an entertainment facility and they deliver. They’ve got a full snack bar with beer and they can arrange for food delivery for your group.

So, you can throw axes, drink beer, eat food, watch the game and enjoy some time with your squad — what more could a person ask for?

Polished floors and comfortable furniture isn’t something you’ll usually find at a run-of-the-mill target range, but this place has both and it makes for a great experience.

Their diverse offering of activities also makes it a fun-filled experience for everyone. If you’re not into throwing axes, you can try out the air guns or the target range. Who doesn’t want to feel like James Bond or Katniss Everdeen now and then?
