It’s officially spring in Southern Ontario but you wouldn’t know from the flurries and below-zero temperatures recently.

Brampton and the surrounding area was hit by a dusting of flurries Thursday and some fierce winds that made things extra chilly. But it was all temporary: the weather is expected to bounce back within 24 hours by a whopping 15 degrees.

The weather is expected to warm up to 15 degrees Friday, with the likelihood of rain thanks to the quick shift in temperatures. It looks like the weather will stay mild with a high of 14 degrees on Saturday–and with sunshine to boot.

It should cool down slightly on Sunday and into Monday, but it will be followed up by a full week of double-digit temperatures. Here’s hoping we say goodbye to the frigid temperatures and snow until next winter.
