7 of the best gas stations in Brampton for cheap gas

We put Brampton’s gas stations to the test to settle once and for all where the best places are to get gas. To determine which locations were the best, we monitored gas prices for two weeks to find average prices that were consistently lower than the national average, currently hovering around 90 cents a litre. So without further ado, here are the best places in Brampton to get cheap gas!

Shell | Great Lakes & Bovaird

Average: 88.7 cents

Great Lakes Shell is usually one of the cheapest in the city and is usually in competition with the Esso at Richvale and Bovaird. You can generally bank on either station having the same prices.

7-Eleven | 140 Father Tobin Rd

Average: 89.1 cents

This location was a bit of a surprise, but those folks on the North East end of Brampton can take full advantage of the cheap gas this location has to offer.

Esso | Richvale & Bovaird

Average: 88.7 cents

This Esso is usually in a price war with the Shell on Great Lakes which means awesome prices for drivers. The line-up can be atrocious at times, but worth the wait if you want some of the cheapest gas in town. When they run out they’ll sometimes offer premium for regular prices too.

Pioneer | Bovaird & Hurontario

Average: 88.5

This Pioneer often has prices a couple of cents lower than the other stations in the area, but beware, it’s often busy in evening hours from commuters passing through.

Pioneer | 1707 Queen St E near Bramalea Rd

Average: 89.2

Head to Queen and Bramalea if you want to fill up for cheap. My advice: go during non-peak hours as they are open 24/7. Make sure to sign up for their points card to take advantage of free car washes and other stuff.

Husky | 1685 Queen St E near Bramalea Rd

Average: 89.3

This Husky is literally a stone’s throw away from Pioneer, so if the lineup there is too long, just hop on over here. Their prices are usually the same or within a cent of each other.

Shell | Queen St E & Humberwest Pkwy

Average: 89.2

This one’s a bit of a trek if you don’t live in East Brampton, but for those that do, it’s time to cash in on that cheap gas! This station rarely has the crazy lineup you’ll find at some locations across the city.
