The iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show is coming to the Rose Theatre just in time for Halloween.
The show will be a live screening of the biggest cult musical of all time, with Tim Curry and the rest of the original gang.
The story is a campy, comedic take on 1920’s science fiction and follows the journey of a newly engaged couple who get caught in a storm, and encounter a mad scientist and his Frankenstein-style monster—a monster which takes the form of a muscle man named Rocky.
This show has a long history of audience participation, and you’ll get to choose whether you want to be involved or sit back and absorb the experience. That said, no throwing things at the stage, so don’t bring any messy stuff in for hurling forward.
Costumes are encouraged for selfies and other photo ops. There’s even a costume contest.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Rose Theatre (1 Theatre Lane) has one more show on Wednesday, October 30, from 9:00 p.m., with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. for pre-show activities.
