There Are Just Two Weekends Left to Enjoy the Brampton Farmers’ Market

Fall is well underway and sadly for Brampton, it means the end of the city’s annual farmers’ market.

The market runs on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Brampton and it enjoys its final day on Saturday, October 12, right before Thanksgiving.

The market runs every week, rain or shine, with vendors who offer locally grown and created produce, meats, specialty items and prepared meals. 

The farmers’ market had over sixty-seven vendors this year selling everything from pastries and spices to juices and all-natural skin-care products.

Every week the market also has local buskers playing live music, as well as cooking demonstrations in Garden Square and lots more activities.

The market will close out with pumpkin carvings and other harvest-related activities as in past years. See the remaining list of events for more details.

Free public parking will continue to be available during the Market at the five municipal garages in the downtown core — City Hall West Tower, John Street, Nelson Square and Market Square. Visitors to the market are encouraged to help keep things green by bringing reusable shopping bags.
