Arts and music are taking over Brampton this weekend for one of the country’s largest cultural festivals.

Culture Days is back for another year and communities across Canada are hosting arts-related events, popups and activities, including in Brampton.

This year there are events happening across the city including Brampton Library’s various branches, Peel Art Gallery Museum + Archives (PAMA), Beaux-Arts, The Rose, and more.

Brampton Library is hosting a bunch of different events including dance demos, classes, music workshops, movie viewings and visual art events in conjunction with Visual Arts Brampton. Local artist-run centre Beaux-Arts is hosting visual arts workshops

PAMA also has a lot going on throughout the weekend. Their exhibitions and archives will be open, and they’re also running a drum circle and other activities.

There’s also free yoga, backstage tours at The Rose, an event for book lovers, a local artists showcase in Garden Square, and more.

The festival runs from September 28 to 30, and all events are free.

Check out the Culture Days website for a full list of events, times and details.
