Contemporary dance meets Bollywood at a flash mob and full-fledged dance party happening in Garden Square this Sunday.
Originally created in Montreal, MoW! stands for Montre(Olly)Wood, or Bollywood made in Montreal. MoW! happened in Montreal in 2016 and 2017 and Ottawa in 2017, and everyone had a total blast. And now it’s here in Brampton so you, too, can get your dance moves on.

MoW! is a 25-minute community dance project By Sinha Danse, which combines contemporary dance and Bollywood performed in large groups of up to 150 dancers.

The choreography is co-created by Roger Sinha (Canada’s 2017 International Dance Day’s Ambassador and 2016 winner of the Cultural Diversity Prize in Dance awarded by the Conseil des arts de Montréal) and Bollywood choreographer Deepali Lindblom.
Sunday, August 19 at 1 p.m. the flash mob performance happens, with workshops to follow at 1:30 p.m. The dance party starts at 2 p.m.
