KiteFest Brampton is a free, two-day festival dedicated to the colourful man-made birds in the sky, and it’s back for another year.
It’s a free event, with lots of fun for kids and adults alike. You’ll see kite flying (obviously) and kite building, as well as entertainment, music, vendors and more. Attendees are welcome to bring their own kites or watch professional flyers take theirs to the sky.
Bonus: kids under 16 will get a free kite they can build and decorate for themselves.
This year the event takes place on June 9 and 10 and the hours are 11 am to 4 pm for both days. It all happens at the Brampton Faigrounds, which is at 12942 Heart Lake Road.
Organizers say to bring cash for purchase of premium kites, food, and drinks because there’s not an ATM on-site.
