We The Future is a symposium and social event that comes to Brampton this weekend. The event aims to empower youth to succeed with purpose in the direction of their interests and strengths, and support them with encouragement and opportunities to connect and grow their talents.

The symposium features a variety of info sessions and workshops and gives platforms for young people to interact with city and community organizations. The event ends with a celebratory social, with live entertainment and recognition of various youth achievements.

There are info sessions oriented around youth entrepreneurship, where youth get to learn from those in the industry about owning businesses, as they offer advice from their successes and mistakes.; civic action and the law, where youth get to hear how they can have a powerful influence on the direction and growth of their communities while building relationships with others; and effectively marketing your brand, where youth get to hear key advice from staff in talent acquisition on how best to present themselves in their résumé.

Tickets for the symposium are free and guests are encouraged to register for one of the symposium info sessions for a chance to win tickets at the social event.
