The City of Brampton is hosting a town hall meeting on safety and security with Mayor Patrick Brown and the new Chief of the Region of Peel Police, Nishan Duraiappah. The meeting gives residents who attend the opportunity to discuss and safety and security issues directly with the mayor and police chief.

The Town Hall Meeting will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the doors opening at 7:45 p.m. It happens at the Gore Meadows Community Centre & Library (10150 The Gore) and when you get to the library head to Community Room #2.

The meeting will be hosted by Azad Singh and Subhash Chand of Brampton First Foundation, Vales of Humber Residents.

“Every resident in our community is concerned,” Says Goyat, “due to ever-increasing crime incidents like gun and gang violence… break-ins and road safety… This is the rarest opportunity [as we] all work together for a safer Brampton.”
