ArtBeat, a new and exciting event created by Beaux-Arts Brampton and partners is coming to downtown Brampton and it kicks off Friday, October 19.
ArtBeat will be showcasing artists from Brampton across the Greater Toronto Area in businesses located in the downtown. From 6 to 9 p.m. artists will be displaying their artwork in downtown businesses.
The event will have guided tours through all the businesses to view the pieces. There’s also the option to do self-directed tours using an event map.
Artists featured at ArtBeat include; April Bhamra, Amanda Busby, Karen Darling, Kyle Langlois, Josephine Condotta, Delroy Gordon Jr aka Del Rye, Michael Brennan, Prabha Madhavan, Broňa Wingell and Dale Boyd.
Participating businesses that will have artists include Beaux-Arts Brampton, Dolcezza Custom Cakes, Stephan’s Furs, Custodio’s Photography Studio, Karen Darling Studio, Brampton Denture Clinic, Segovia Coffee Co. and Wendel Clark’s Grill & Bar.
Right now restaurants across the city are offering special prix-fixe menus, share platters and discounts as part of the Taste of Brampton festival. A bunch of participating restaurants are within walking distance of the art crawl, so you can enjoy dinner before the event or a post-crawl snack.
