The Rose Theatre just opened sales for their new season to run from July 2018 to April 2019. It’s one of the theatre’s most diverse seasons yet, with a range of theatre, music, dance, and comedy from acclaimed artists and international talent.
The season will include performances from Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo, Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishal, jazz singer Holly Cole, Indian classical sarod player Amhad Ali Khan, and more.
Trey Anthony, author of the blockbuster hit ’da Kink in my hair, is also a part of this season with her thought-provoking play How Black Mothers Say I Love You.

Other theatre productions will include the classic Rocky Horror Picture Show and award-winning comedy Potted Potter, which “takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing all seven Harry Potter books (and a real-life game of Quidditch) into seventy hilarious minutes.”
“I am very inspired by the vibrancy and energy of Brampton. It is a diverse, youthful and ambitious city, and we have sought to capture Brampton’s eclectic dynamism with this upcoming season,” says Brendan Healy, The Rose Theatre’s new artistic director.

The Rose has also launched a new membership program. Those who purchase tickets to multiple shows (3, 4, or 5+) will enjoy exclusive benefits in addition to a reduced ticket rate. More details about the program will be available in fall 2018.
