The City of Brampton offers a lot of fun recreational activities that you can enjoy during the winter season at many of the parks in the city. Here are the top five best parks in Brampton for winter activities.

Chinguacousy Park – 9050 Bramalea Road

Chinguacousy Park has a ski and snowboard hill as well as their outdoor skating trail open during the winter season. The free skating trail is more than 2000 square meters and can hold up to 500 people. The park even offers skating equipment rentals.

Gage Park – 45 Main Street South

In winter, Gage Park has a large outdoor skating trail that covers most of the park. The trail can be fun to skate through or to watch while you enjoy your hot chocolate from the sidelines.

Earnscliffe Park – 44 Eastbourne Drive

Earnscliffe Park, next to the recreation centre with the same name, is another good place to go cross country skiing, sledding and tobogganing during the winter. While you’re there, the rec centre has several amenities including an indoor pool, two indoor ice rinks, a fitness centre and a sauna.

Clairville Conservation Area – 8180 Highway 50

Clairville Conservation Area offers a beautiful hiking trail for any season. Visitors can see the natural wildlife if they’re lucky, too.

Major Oaks Park – on Williams Parkway just west of the 410

Major Oaks Park offers a lot of fun wintry activities. The park’s big hills lend themselves to a little skiing and tobogganing and general awesome fun.
