Tragically Hip final show will be live streamed in Garden Square on August 20

It’s official! The City of Brampton has managed to snag the broadcasting rights for the Hip’s final show in August.

The band’s Man Machine Poem tour will begin broadcasting from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in Garden Square on Saturday August 20. The Square’s pre-scheduled movie Frozen will still be broadcasting at 5 p.m. but Captain America set to begin at 8 p.m. is cancelled.

Brampton joins a bunch of other cities including Toronto and Hamilton who will be live streaming the final show in their central squares and parks.

If you didn’t snag a coveted ticket to their live concert, this is your chance to say goodbye to The Tragically Hip as we know it.

Will you be checking out The Hip broadcast in the Square next month?
