Osler’s SSRP offers students a chance to immerse themselves in research within a community hospital, collaborating with dedicated researchers across diverse disciplines.
This program stands out as a unique chance for students to acquire hands-on experience in a clinical setting. Students manage much of the research independently, guided by an Osler clinician. Interaction with patients and witnessing the daily operations of a clinical environment is an integral part of the experience.
Students will be paid minimum wage, but can expect full-time work (35 hours a week) for the duration of the program.

- Program duration: May 6 to August 27, 2024
- Bi-weekly education sessions to enhance research-related knowledge

Are You Eligible?
To be eligible, you should have completed at least two years of post-secondary education, ideally in a health-related discipline, with plans to return to school as a student in the fall. You’ll also need to be able to travel to and from Osler Health System sites.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Familiarity with research methodology and data analysis is an asset
