Video: Lilly Singh Calls Brampton Meet-And-Greet ‘One of The Most Lit’

Immensely popular YouTuber Lilly Singh was in Brampton Saturday for a meet and greet at Chapters on Quarry Edge Drive.

Hundreds of fans lined up, some overnight, to snag wristbands for the opportunity to meet Lilly, get a photo with her, and an autographed copy of her book How To Be A Bawse: A Guide To Conquering Life.

Singh’s visit to Brampton was just days after finding out she had landed her book first on the Globe and Mail Bestsellers List and second on the New York Times Betseller List.

She made her appearance dressed in her signature back tuxedo jacket and a pair of bright gold sneakers. The crowd of fans of all ages was understandably excited and cheers erupted throughout the store, they even chanted her name.

When she finally took to the stage, 400 fans who had snagged wrist bands had the opportunity to grab a photo. At the end of the event Singh went into the crowd to greet those who didn’t have wristbands, she even took a second to bust a move after a Dhol drummer started performing.

She was impressed by the energy that fans in Brampton brought. “That was one of the most lit meet and greets I have ever had,” said Singh, after it was all over. “Only in Brampton would I arrive at a meet and greet and there’s a dhol outside.”

Naturally, Singh vlogged the whole thing, including a trip to Ricks Good Eats for some delicious food.

The Brampton portion of the vlog begins at 2:24. Check it out below.
