Who doesn’t love to sit back, relax with the family, and enjoy a Christmas movie during the holiday season? Now you can do just that for a fraction of the regular ticket price.

Cineplex theatres in Ontario are participating in an awesome deal where customers get to watch movies on Saturday mornings at 11 a.m. for just $2.99. This price had been in effect since mid-September, but now customers have a slew of family holiday favourites to choose from all through November and December. Here’s some of the line-up:

The Polar Express (2004) is an American 3D animated feature film, about the magical Christmas steam engine that travels straight to the North Pole, and the journey of two children as they prepare to meet Santa Claus.

Arthur’s Christmas (2011) is a British-American 3D animated feature film, about a family of Clauses at the North Pole. The story covers the current Malcolm Claus and his two sons, successors Steve and Arthur, as they go on an adventure to restore a gift to a child whose Christmas present got lost on Christmas Eve.

The Grinch (2018) is a 3D animated feature film, based on Dr. Suess’ popular character, The Grinch, and his grouchy sentiments toward the cheer of the Christmas season as he learns how to love.

Other films running this season are: Charlotte’s Web (2006) and Dora the Explorer (2019).

There is one theatre in Brampton, SilverCity Cinemas (50 Great Lakes Drive). In Mississauga there’s Cineplex Mississauga (309 Rathburn Road West), and in Etobicoke there’s Cineplex Queensway (1025 The Queensway).
