Open:

  • Bramalea City Centre will be open from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Recreation centres across Brampton. Get details on hours and programs here.
  • Shoppers Drug Mart
  • Most restaurants but call ahead to be safe
  • Movie theatres
  • Federal government offices (i.e.passport, Service Canada)
  • Outdoor skating rinks (Chinguacousy Park, Mount Pleasant, Gage Park — assuming the weather cooperates)
  • PAMA (Peel Art Gallery, Museum + Archives) has a Family Day event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Closed:

  • Trinity Common Mall
  • Most major grocery stores
  • Banks
  • LCBO & Beer Store
  • Provincial government offices
  • Brampton City Hall
  • Region of Peel offices
  • Brampton Library branches

Brampton Transit services will be operating on a Sunday/Holiday schedule. GO Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule.

There will be no garbage pickup on Monday, February 17. All waste collection will be on Tuesday, February 18. Also, recycling centres will be closed on Monday.
