This Victoria Day, a number of city services will be unavailable or will operate under reduced service levels.

Several services will be operating under regular hours, including Fire and Emergency Services and City of Brampton Bylaw Enforcement.

Brampton Transit will follow the below schedule:
Friday May 17: Weekday service
Saturday May 18: Saturday service
Sunday May 19: Sunday Service
Monday May 20: Sunday/Holiday service (school routes will not operate)

Open:

  • Most Recreation facilities will be open over Victoria Day Weekend. For updated program schedules and hours of operation, call your local recreation centre or visit www.brampton.ca/recreation.
  • Bramalea City Centre is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Cineplex movie theatres
  • Smaller grocery stores such as Rabba
  • Some Shoppers Drug Marts
  • Most restaurants will be open but call ahead to be sure

Closed:

  • Brampton City Hall
  • Brampton Transit stores and customer service counters at all terminals, and the Clark and Sandalwood facilities
  • Brampton Animal Shelter
  • All Brampton Library branches will be closed Sunday, May 19 and Monday, May 20.
  • Region of Peel offices
  • All major grocery stores (Metro, Loblaws, etc.)
  • Government offices and banks
  • Community centres
  • LCBO and Beer Store
  • Passport office

Most Region of Peel services will be closed Victoria Day including: Employment Resource Centres, Family Health Call Centres, Healthy Sexuality Clinics, Dental Services, Human Services Reception, Child Care Centres, Breastfeeding Clinic Services, and Peel Access to Housing
