67 grocery stories across Ontario have officially started selling wine, three of which are in Brampton.

You can now get wine at Fortinos (35 Worthington Ave), FreshCo (380 Bovaird Dr) an Longo’s (65 Dufay Rd).

The province plans to roll out sales to over 300 stores by 2025.

Under rules set by the government, wine — along with beer and cider which began selling in six packs at grocery stores just last year — will be sold in designated areas of stores from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. everyday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Wine will also continue to be sold at Wine Rack and Wine Shop stores already located in grocery stores.

The sale of spirits will continue in LCBO outlets, with the province maintaining a monopoly on liquor containing higher levels of alcohol.
